An opportunity has arisen for an interim Finance Lead to lead the delivery of One Advanced Financial, managing the end‑to‑end migration from Agresso and ASH Debtors for a major local authority based in Essex.
Your new role
- To work on the delivery of One Advance Financial and migration to it from Agresso and ASH Debtors.
- To work alongside the full time IT Project Manager, providing visible day to day leadership of the project, managing the team of service specialists involved in the project and ensuring there are no gaps between the individual areas they each focus on, as well as an outward business focused face of the project.
- Closely manage the Accountant working in the project team and be expected to provide guidance, particularly around Local Authority best practice, management and financial accounting.
What you will need to succeed
- You should have previous experience of delivering finance system implementations at local authorities, or potentially significant local authority accounting experience and systems implementation experience in other sectors.
